AMSTERDAM – Het ziet er naar uit dat Thierry Antinori de nieuwe topman wordt van Air France-KLM. Zo melden bronnen in de boezem van de luchtvaartmaatschappij aan Aviationwatch.nl . Antinori, nu nog commercieel directeur bij Emirates volgt Alexandre de Juniac op, die naar de IATA vertrekt.
Thierry Antinori is momenteel commercieel directeur van de explosief groeiende luchtvaartmaatschappij Emirates met als thuisbasis Dubai. Thierry, een Fransman, kent de luchtvaart als zijn broekzak. Hij werkte al eerder bij Air France, stapte toen over naar Lufthansa en later naar Emirates. In de luchtvaartwereld werd hij beschouwd als een groot vakman.

Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer
Thierry Antinomy is as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer has responsibility for Commercial Operations, Revenue Optimisation, Skywards, Destination and Leisure Management and Cargo.
Thierry joined Emirates in October 2011 as Executive Vice President for Passenger Sales Worldwide. He was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Emirates Airline, in June 2013.
Thierry’s career spans more than 25 years in the aviation industry, including senior commercial positions at both Lufthansa and Air France. He began his career with Air France, responsible for regional sales and route management across Europe before becoming Executive Assistant to the President and then Director Air France for Germany.
In 1997, Thierry joined Lufthansa as Vice President Sales & Services for Western and Southern Europe before being appointed Executive Vice President Sales and then Executive Vice President Marketing & Sales, as well as becoming a member of the airline’s executive board, managing worldwide sales, marketing and product management.
Thierry holds a business management diploma from the French business school ESSEC in Paris.
Thierry was declared the Chief Marketing Officer of the Year (CMO) in 2009 by Booz & Company.
